19th Century Country Irish Farmhouse Pine Kitchen Dresser

This is a wonderful nineteenth century Irish kitchen dresser or breakfront. Made of solid pine and featuring two cutlery drawers, an open base and a deep counter with three fixed shelves suitable for plates and crockery or books. The top features a stepped, moulded cornice and the open base is beautifully detailed with an arched opening culminating in two sunburst details. Tongue and groove joinery on the drawers and solid beaded boards make up the back.
This cabinet has a honeyed, weathered patina, complete with scuffs, scratches, worn bits and even a mouse hole! But it is completely structurally solid, with no loose parts or instability.  It's scale makes it perfect for modern interiors: at 48"  wide and 76" high and 16" deep, it does not overwhelm.
