Art Nouveau Marble Sculpture of Two Figures Kissing

Art Nouveau Marble Sculpture of Two Figures Kissing

This is a stunning Art Nouveau marble sculpture, of two females kissing in front of a pool. Carved in marble, early twentieth century but possibly 19th, most probably French. The base inscribed with "Semper Semper" on the front in faint bas-relief. The pool may have been designed to hold water.
This is one of the most beautiful pieces in our showroom, and we have never seen another one like it.
An incredible piece for a collector or as a wedding gift.
Faint cracks throughout, may have been extensively repaired, but the piece is solid there are no pieces or extremities missing.

18" Wide By 13.5" High and 8" Deep.
