Collection of Bohemian Amber Crystal Glassware, 19th Century

Collection of Bohemian Amber Crystal Glassware, 19th Century

This is an exquisite collection of Bohemian amber cut-to-clear crystal from the nineteenth century, featuring one decanter, on pokal, four cordial glasses and a matching tray.
All beautifully hand-carved, etched and acid washed with images of deer in woodland, trees, ferns, leaves and grapevines.
The tray is rimmed in vine leaves and the central image depicts a bunch of grapes with leaves and tendrils.
Each cordial glass features a unique, individual deer in a woodland scene.
The decanter features a stag with large antlers as well as a lovely dog in a woodland, and the pokal features flying birds over large oak trees and more deer.
The detail and quality of the carving on these pieces is exceptional.
All in near perfect condition: some very light surface scratches to the tray, and a bit of discolouration to the inside rim of the pokal, less than 1cm and not visible when the lid is in place— please see photos.
